Make users familiar with the antivirus software’s infection warning procedure

Users have received information, preferably in an interactive manner, showing them what happens when there is an infection attempt followed by a block and an alert by the antivirus software. The user actions required, possibly including reporting the event to the helpdesk, are explained.

Users who are aware of the symptoms when malicious software has been blocked know how to react calmly, how to isolate the file or peripheral concerned, and even how to warn the sender or owner of the infected resource.
